DIET Is a Four Letter Word! LOL

Click on the above banner to get your FREE report on the Top 10 Diet Myths sent directly to you. There are a few myths there that may surprise you!

Diet.

Is that not a word that strikes fear in a person's heart? (If you'll notice, I said "person", not "woman" because I know LOTS of men that hate the word diet as much as women do!)

The word "diet" means different things to different individuals. To some people, the word means they need to watch what they eat a little more, cut out the junk, and exercise a couple times a week. That's all they need.

There are those that will follow an individual diet, maybe a new diet that just appeared on the scene as the "new thing to do" and follow it to a T, but not make any other changes to their lifestyle; i.e. common sense food choices and moderate exercise.

Then there are the ones who OVER-KILL the whole thing: measure this (to the gram!) and measure that, no fats, no carbs, no sugars, no ANYTHING THAT TASTES GOOD! And exercise, OMG, 2 hours a day at the gym!

NOT FOR ME! I want a LIFE! Even if I'm dieting!

It all comes down to a few common sense things.

Dieting is all well and good for those who need help, a jump start shall we call it, to a healthier life. Many people need that jump start to get them going. Many of the diets out there right now, especially the good ones, will help people SEE a SIGNIFICANT difference almost immediately. That difference, whether seen on a scale or seen in the difference in fit of clothing or maybe just the "feeling" better about yourself, is a wonderful motivator to assist us in getting to that level where we are happy with our weight, with the way we look.

Common sense eating; whole grains, lean meat, lots of fruits and vegetables, cut down sugars and fats (notice I didn't say eliminate them!) and moderate exercise in conjunction with a "diet" will give anyone the best chance of being happy with how they look over the long run.

Please feel free to post and let me know which diet you are on and how you are doing!
I'd love to hear from you!
Michelle
